The SAP Consultant will be responsible for the end-to-end implementation of SAP Business One on HANA hosted in AWS for the LRC office. This includes planning, coordination, execution, and ensuring alignment with business requirements and group standards. The consultant will act as the primary liaison among the SAP vendor, LRC stakeholders, and Luxasia Finance and IT team.

Main Roles and Responsibilities

1. Project Management & Coordination

  • Lead and oversee the full lifecycle of SAP Business One on Hana hosted in AWS platform implementation.
  • Develop and manage the project timeline, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Coordinate closely with the appointed SAP vendor for execution and issue resolution.
  • Ensure timely communication and alignment between LRC, LUXASIA Finance, and IT team.
  • Escalate risks, issues, and delays with recommended mitigation plans.

1.1 Business Requirements Gathering & Analysis

  • Work with LRC stakeholders to gather and document detailed business requirements.
  • Analyze current business processes and recommend improvements aligned with SAP best practices.
  • Ensure requirements are clearly translated into functional specifications for the vendor.

1.2 System Design & Implementation

  • Validate system design and configuration proposed by the SAP vendor.
  • Ensure SAP Business One on Hana hosted in AWS setup aligns with LUXASIA group standards, policies, and controls.
  • Oversee modules implementation (e.g., Finance and Banking, Inventory, Purchasing, Sales, Fixed Assets, etc).
  • Monitor data migration activities, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

1.3 Testing & Quality Assurance

  • Develop and manage test plans, including UAT (User Acceptance Testing) involving the LRC Team and LUXASIA Finance.
  • Coordinate testing activities between business users and vendor.
  • Ensure all identified issues are tracked, resolved, and retested before go-live.
  • Ensure proper documentation (user manuals, SOPs) is delivered.

1.4 Go-Live & Post-Implementation Support

  • Oversee go-live planning and execution.
  • Ensure readiness of all stakeholders prior to system launch.
  • Provide post-go-live support and stabilization coordination with the vendor.
  • Monitor system performance and resolve any post-implementation issues.

2. Liaison Role

  • Act as the single point of contact between:

    • SAP Implementation Vendor
    • LRC Business Users
    • LUXASIA Finance Team
    • LUXASIA IT Team
  • Ensure all parties are aligned on deliverables, timelines, and expectations.

  • Facilitate regular status meetings and provide progress updates.

3. Deliverables

  • Project plan and timeline
  • Business requirements documentation (BRD)
  • Functional specifications and system design validation
  • Test plans and UAT sign-offs
  • Training materials and documentation
  • Go-live checklist and readiness report
  • Post-implementation support report

Qualifications and Experience

  • With 5 years of experience in project management
  • With 7 years of experience in managing projects related to SAP and has the capability to navigate SAP HANA system
  • Willing to work onsite and may consider hybrid set up
