A Los Angeles-based clothing brand using apparel, events, and retail spaces for personal expression.

About madhappy

We started Madhappy in Los Angeles in 2017. We create apparel, host events, and design unique retail spaces to help people explore personal expression. We offer classic styles, seasonal collections, and special collaborations. You can find us at our permanent flagship store in West Hollywood, or at our seasonal pop-ups in places like New York City (Soho), Aspen, Miami, East Hampton, and Tokyo. We design each seasonal store to fit its location while still reflecting our brand.

Beyond clothing, we’re dedicated to mental health. The Madhappy Foundation, a 501c(3) non-profit, supports mental health research and awareness. We also publish Local Optimist, a print magazine, and host The Madhappy Podcast, where we talk about mental health. Some of our stores, including those in Tokyo, New York, and West Hollywood, even have cafes called PANTRY®. We’ve teamed up with many partners for collaborations, including Sasha December, PUMA, MARNI, FREECITY, Office Kiko, Guest In Residence, Hysteric Glamour, Gap, UGG, and Colette. We also organize events like the Madhappy & Friends fundraiser for Mental Health Awareness Month, which supports groups like The JED Foundation.

Mission & Values

At Madhappy, we believe in an optimistic approach to life, reflected in our clothing and everything we do. We see personal expression as a way to improve mental well-being. Through The Madhappy Foundation, our Local Optimist magazine, and The Madhappy Podcast, we aim to celebrate everyone’s journey of growth and self-expression.
