We offer Product Lifecycle Intelligence software that uses AI, data, and apps. This helps manufacturing companies make sustainable decisions about their products and supply chains. Our software helps speed up the shift to a sustainable economy. It does this by creating digital twins of supply chains, which allows for optimizing product sustainability, cost, and risk.

Our technology automatically maps product data, suppliers, and manufacturing processes. It uses over 140 material and supply chain databases to build detailed digital twins for each product. These twins show how products are made, used, and disposed of, providing clear insights into their environmental footprint, true costs, and compliance risks.

Our software integrates with CAD, ERP, and PLM systems. It imports bill of material or product files and enriches that data with information on materials, substances, and supply chains from our database. Users can then analyze, improve, and report on sustainability, compliance, and cost. This helps them choose alternative materials to reduce impacts and risks throughout the product lifecycle. We support automated Life Cycle Assessments (LCAs) and Scope 3 reporting. Our Multi-Criteria Decision Analysis (MCDA) is used for product design and procurement. For example, our platform processed over 20 million LCAs in 2022.

The platform’s main functions include automating LCAs and Scope 3 reporting, speeding up product design, and making supply chains more resilient by identifying deep-tier risks and modeling complex supply chains. It helps engineers design sustainable products, procurement teams make smarter buying decisions, and experts automate tasks for Net Zero goals, cost management, compliance, risk, and EHS.

Neil D’Souza founded Makersite in 2018. We are headquartered in Stuttgart, Germany, with another office in Berlin. We have over 60 employees in Europe, the USA, and Asia. Our customers include Microsoft, Bekaert, Barco, Cummins, Vestas, Schaeffler, and Autodesk.
