Job Description
Hi! We are Manyone.
For our Manyone New York City team in Brooklyn, we’re looking for a creative and technically skilled Spatial Designer to join our team. You’ll be responsible for conceptualizing and designing branded environments across event spaces, conference booths, corporate offices and brand activations. This role requires someone who can seamlessly blend strategic brand thinking with experience design and spatial design execution from idea to the detail work of ordering furniture and guiding construction teams. Some international travel will be required, especially at critical moments in the build phase and at the finishing stages of a build.
What you’ll do
Transform a brand into physical experiences by designing engaging spaces that connect with audiences both through the physical design and interactive touchpoints. You’ll work across the full design process—from initial strategy and concepts through to construction documentation and installation oversight. Your designs will need to balance aesthetic impact with practical considerations like traffic flow, interaction points, budget constraints, and technical feasibility.
Who you are and what you’ll bring
Required Experience:
- 3-7 years of professional experience (agency preferred) designing spatial environments such as retail spaces, corporate events, conference booths, or brand activations
- Strong portfolio demonstrating successful projects across multiple space types
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in 3D design tools (SketchUp, Rhino, Cinema 4D, Blender, or similar)
- Solid understanding of floor plans, blueprints, and CAD drawings
- Experience with rendering software to create compelling client presentations
- Ability to produce construction-ready documentation of design intent
Design Expertise:
- Solid understanding of how to translate brand identity into physical environments
- Knowledge of interior design principles including materials, finishes, lighting, and color theory
- Experience integrating digital elements (screens, interactive displays, AR/VR) with physical design
- Understanding of spatial planning, circulation, and user experience within environments
Additional Qualifications:
- Strong communication skills to present concepts to clients and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
- Knowledge of fabrication methods, materials, and installation processes
- Understanding of budgets and vendor management is a plus
- Ideally, you’re located within 1 hour of Brooklyn, NY
Why join Manyone?
- Work from home 2-3 days a week
- Life insurance and health benefits package
- Truly international work environment with the opportunity to work across teams and cultures
- Continual learning and development opportunities
- Salary range: $120 - 140K / year
Interested?
Please submit your resume along with a portfolio showcasing relevant spatial design projects. We’re particularly interested in seeing work that demonstrates your ability to create cohesive branded environments and integrate digital and physical experiences.
