Marcus & Millichap is seeking a detail-oriented Marketing Specialist to support high-volume Public Relations and Social Media execution across its Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, and Southeast regions. This hands-on, production-focused role provides essential coordination and content execution support to scale regional marketing output and ensure consistent, accurate, and timely delivery across channels.
This role is approximately 50% PR execution support and 50% social media content production, with responsibilities centered on coordination, templated content execution, and workflow management.
The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, brings strong attention to detail, and takes ownership of execution. This is a hybrid role reporting to the Senior Team Manager, Field Marketing.

Key Responsibilities
- Public Relations Execution Support
- Support day-to-day regional PR execution through high-volume production and coordination tasks
- Draft, format, and edit press releases using established templates, structured inputs, and approved source material
- Manage internal press release routing, stakeholder reviews, approvals, and version control
- Publish approved press releases, news items, and event content to the company website using the firm’s content management system
- Coordinate timelines, deadlines, and required inputs with Field Marketing and internal stakeholders
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand and style guidelines across all PR deliverables
- Social Media Content Production & Posting
- Execute social media content production and posting across the firm’s social channels
- Populate captions, copy, and metadata using pre-approved templates and content calendars
- Input data into highly templated graphic designs using established design systems
- Schedule and publish social media posts in alignment with defined workflows and timelines
- Perform quality control to ensure accuracy, consistency, and brand alignment prior to posting
- Monitor published content and escalate comments or inquiries to appropriate channel owners as needed
- Cross-Functional Support
- Collaborate with Field Marketing and marketing partners across PR, social, advertising, and other channels to support regional priorities
- Provide marketing execution support for ad hoc regional initiatives as needed
- Maintain organized documentation and workflows to support efficient, repeatable execution across markets
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Advertising, or a related field (or equivalent internship experience)
- 1–2 years of experience, including internships or entry-level marketing roles
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and workflows efficiently
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Comfort working in a structured, template-driven production environment
- Ability to learn and apply commercial real estate concepts and terminology
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; experience with project management tools such as Asana or Monday, content management systems, and social publishing platforms is a plus
