As our Sales Enablement Manager, you’re not running training programmes. You’re building the engine that makes our global sales org faster, sharper, and harder to compete with.

You’ll cut ramp time. You’ll improve quota attainment. You’ll build enablement infrastructure that actually scales — and you’ll measure every bit of it.

But here’s what makes this role different.

AI isn’t a bolt-on here. It’s the foundation. You’ll embed AI into every layer of enablement — from day one onboarding through to executive-level selling skills. When you’re done, our reps won’t just use AI. They’ll be AI-native. And that’s a competitive advantage our competitors can’t easily copy.

This is a role for someone who’s done with enablement that looks good on a slide but doesn’t move numbers. If you want to build something that matters — and prove it — this is your seat.

Location

We value in-person collaboration here at Matillion, therefore this role follows our hybrid work structure where Matillioners work 2 days a week in our Manchester office.

Our core day is Wednesday, and the second day will be determined together. The rest of the week you are welcome to work from the office, or remotely if you’d prefer.

What you’ll be doing:

•   ​ Build the engine, not just the training. ​ Design and scale onboarding and skill development programmes that cut ramp time, sharpen executive-level selling, and get reps quota-ready — fast.

•   ​ Make AI the default, not the afterthought. ​ Embed AI into every layer of enablement — content, delivery, measurement — and train our sellers to use it to win, not just to work.

•   ​ Arm sellers with weapons that work. ​ Create the messaging frameworks, battle cards, talk tracks, and playbooks that drive real revenue — new logos, expansions, and retention.

•   ​ Turn data into decisions. ​ Track the metrics that matter — ramp time, quota attainment, rep retention — and use them to diagnose gaps and run fast, targeted interventions.

•   ​ Influence without authority. ​ Partner with Sales Leadership, GTM Ops, and Product Marketing to align enablement to business priorities — and drive adoption through storytelling, data, and relationships.

•   ​ Build for scale from day one. ​ Create repeatable processes, scalable workflows, and a knowledge infrastructure that grows with the business — and proves its ROI to senior stakeholders.

What we are looking for:

•   ​ You’ve done this before — and you have the numbers to prove it. ​ Solid experience in sales enablement or revenue operations in B2B SaaS, with a track record of improving ramp time, quota attainment, and rep retention.

•   ​ You know how elite sales teams sell. ​ Hands-on with value-based selling, Challenger methodology, and MEDDPICC — and you’ve coached reps using these frameworks with measurable impact on win rates and deal progression.

•   ​ AI isn’t new to you. ​ You’ve already embedded emerging technologies into programmes and workflows. You don’t wait for the playbook — you write it.

•   ​ You make complex things simple. ​ You turn strategy into playbooks, decks, talk tracks, and videos that reps actually use — and you can walk a boardroom through the ROI in the same week.

•   ​ You influence without a title. ​ Comfortable partnering with and challenging Directors and above. You drive adoption through data, storytelling, and trust — not authority.

•   ​ You thrive in the grey. ​ Self-starter. Fast experimenter. You balance creative thinking with disciplined execution, and you measure success by business impact — not activity metrics.

At Matillion, we are committed to providing competitive salaries in line with market standards. Our estimated compensation range for this position is £76,000 - £114,000 but the final salary will be based on your relevant skills, experience and qualifications demonstrated in the hiring process.
