Job Description
The Opportunity:
The Associate Media Manager is an execution‑focused role responsible for supporting media planning, activation, optimization, and reporting across assigned categories, regions, or markets. Operating under the direction of Media Managers (L6) and Senior Media Managers (L5), this role plays a critical part in ensuring media strategies are executed accurately, efficiently, and in alignment with global and regional standards.
This role is positioned as a hands‑ on execution and enablement layer, building foundational media expertise while contributing directly to campaign delivery and performance management.
Core Accountabilities
Media Activation & Execution Support
Support execution of approved global, regional, or market‑ level media strategies across assigned brands or categories.
Coordinate closely with agency partners to support media planning, trafficking inputs, optimization requests, and reporting deliverables.
Ensure campaign components are set up accurately and consistently with approved strategy, budgets, and timelines.
Assist with activation across channels to support omnichannel delivery.
Performance Monitoring & Optimization Support
Monitor campaign performance on an ongoing basis and support in‑ flight optimization activities.
Compile and review performance data, identifying trends, anomalies, or optimization opportunities.
Flag risks, performance issues, or inconsistencies to Media Managers for review and action.
Support post‑campaign reporting and learning summaries.
Cross‑ Functional Coordination
Partner with cross‑functional teams in Marketing, Regional Media, and Marketing Communications to support integrated campaign delivery.
Assist in coordinating inputs and outputs between internal stakeholders and agency partners.
Ensure alignment and communication across teams to support smooth execution.
Budgeting, Reporting & Process Support
Support media budget tracking, pacing updates, and reporting in partnership with Media Managers and Finance.
Assist with ongoing reporting cycles, dashboards, and performance documentation.
Ensure documentation and deliverables are accurate, up to date, and properly archived.
Learning & Capability Development
Build foundational expertise in media planning, activation, and performance analysis.
Actively incorporate feedback and coaching to strengthen execution quality and media judgment.
Share execution learnings and observations to support continuous improvement of media processes and best practices.
Decision Rights
Owns:
Accurate execution support and coordination for assigned media initiatives.
Timely escalation of risks, errors, or performance concerns.
Supports / Recommends:
Optimization suggestions and insights for review by Media Managers.
Execution adjustments within clearly defined guardrails.
Does Not Own:
Final strategy decisions.
Budget ownership or major investment shifts. (This distinction is intentional and Comp‑ aligned.)
Scope & Impact
Supports delivery of media investment across assigned categories or regions.
Directly impacts execution quality, efficiency, and performance reporting accuracy.
Enables Media Managers to focus on optimization and strategy by ensuring strong execution hygiene.
Contributes to overall media effectiveness through disciplined execution support.

What We’re Looking For:
Foundational experience in media planning, activation, or related marketing roles.
Strong attention to detail and execution discipline.
Analytical mindset with comfort working in performance dashboards and reports.
Ability to manage multiple workstreams and deadlines.
Clear communicator with strong collaboration skills.
Interest in developing deeper media expertise and strategic acumen over time.

What We Offer:
- Gross annual salary range of [PLN 198 960 - PLN 236 265]
- Bonus scheme: Participation in Mattel Incentive Plan (MIP) with the target of 10% of base salary, payout is determined by company and individual performance results
