About MedReview

MedReview is a leading provider of payment integrity solutions that help national and regional health plans promote population health, ensure payment accuracy, reduce administrative waste, improve provider relationships, and optimize financial performance. For more than four decades, MedReview has partnered with health plans, third-party administrators, and other healthcare organizations to deliver technology-enabled solutions that identify savings opportunities, drive operational efficiency, and improve healthcare outcomes.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a Director of Account Management to serve as the primary day-to-day relationship partner for an assigned portfolio of clients. The Director of Account Management will coordinate communication between clients and MedReview, monitor service performance, resolve routine and moderately complex issues, support business reviews, and identify opportunities to expand the relationship. This role requires strong healthcare knowledge, disciplined follow-through, and the ability to build consultative relationships across clients and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

Client Relationship Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients and coordinate communication across MedReview.
  • Manage an assigned portfolio of clients, escalating highly complex or enterprise-level matters to Senior Account Management leadership as appropriate.
  • Build trusted relationships with client stakeholders and develop a strong understanding of each client’s business priorities, operating model, and expectations.
  • Maintain regular client contact and ensure questions, issues, and requests are addressed promptly and accurately.
  • Develop and maintain account plans, stakeholder maps, meeting records, and action-item tracking.
  • Escalate relationship, service, or financial risks appropriately and support resolution.

Service Performance and Issue Resolution

  • Monitor service level agreement performance, deliverables, open issues, and client commitments.
  • Partner with Operations and other internal teams to troubleshoot issues and coordinate corrective action.
  • Monitor claims aging, recovery execution, and related client actions that may affect outcomes or payment.
  • Ensure clear ownership, deadlines, and follow-up for client and internal action items.
  • Communicate status and resolution plans to clients in a timely and professional manner.

Business Reviews and Client Reporting

  • Prepare and lead recurring client meetings and business reviews with support from Account Management leadership and subject matter experts.
  • Develop clear reporting on performance, savings, operational results, open items, and strategic priorities.
  • Translate operational information into concise, client-focused updates.
  • Document decisions, commitments, risks, and next steps following client meetings.
  • Provide accurate updates for internal portfolio and client health reviews.

Retention and Growth

  • Identify client needs and potential cross-sell, upsell, and new-solution opportunities.
  • Partner with Account Management leadership, Business Development, Product, and Operations to evaluate and advance opportunities.
  • Support renewal, pricing, contracting, and scope discussions as assigned.
  • Demonstrate MedReview’s value through data, outcomes, and consultative recommendations.
  • Monitor competitive activity and changes in the client environment that could affect the relationship.

Voice of the Customer and Internal Coordination

  • Bring client feedback and market insight to Product, Operations, and leadership teams.
  • Support new-client and new-solution implementations, transitions, and handoffs.
  • Coordinate internal resources to provide a consistent client experience.
  • Identify recurring issues and recommend process, communication, or solution improvements.
  • Maintain accurate client information, opportunity activity, and relationship notes in the designated CRM and account management tools.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 3+ years of Account Management, client success, healthcare operations, payment integrity, managed care, revenue cycle, healthcare technology, or related experience.
  • Experience managing complex client relationships and coordinating across multiple internal teams.
  • Working knowledge of healthcare claims, payment integrity, payer operations, reimbursement, or related healthcare services.
  • Strong communication, presentation, organization, problem-solving, and follow-through skills.
  • Ability to interpret operational and financial information and present it clearly to clients.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and client commitments with limited supervision.
  • Professional judgment and the ability to handle sensitive or escalated client matters appropriately.
  • Proficiency with CRM, presentation, spreadsheet, and client reporting tools.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience working with health plans, third-party administrators, or payment integrity organizations.
  • Experience supporting technology-enabled healthcare services or SaaS solutions.

What Success Looks Like

Within the first 12 to 24 months, this leader will:

  • Build trusted relationships and a strong understanding of assigned clients.
  • Establish consistent account plans, meeting cadences, and action-item tracking.
  • Improve visibility into service performance, client risks, and open issues.
  • Deliver effective client meetings and business reviews.
  • Support strong retention and client satisfaction.
  • Identify and help advance qualified cross-sell and upsell opportunities.
  • Improve coordination and accountability across client-facing and delivery teams.
