Job Description

About MedReview

MedReview is a leading provider of payment integrity solutions that help national and regional health plans promote population health, ensure payment accuracy, reduce administrative waste, improve provider relationships, and optimize financial performance. For more than four decades, MedReview has partnered with health plans, third-party administrators, and other healthcare organizations to deliver technology-enabled solutions that identify savings opportunities, drive operational efficiency, and improve healthcare outcomes.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a Senior Director of Account Management to lead the day-to-day management of MedReview’s largest, most complex, and enterprise client relationships. The Senior Director of Account Management will serve as a strategic and consultative partner to client leaders, coordinate across multiple client business units and internal MedReview teams, oversee account performance and risk, and identify opportunities to expand the relationship. This role requires the experience and judgment to manage high-visibility accounts, navigate complex stakeholder environments, and resolve issues that may have significant client or business impact.

Key Responsibilities

Enterprise Client Relationship Management

  • Serve as the primary day-to-day relationship leader for assigned enterprise and other large, complex clients.
  • Build relationships across client executive, operational, financial, and technical stakeholders.
  • Develop a detailed understanding of each client’s business priorities, organizational structure, operating model, and expectations.
  • Maintain comprehensive account plans, stakeholder maps, engagement strategies, and governance calendars.
  • Coordinate communication across multiple client business units, products, and MedReview teams to provide consistent client experience.

Strategic Account Planning and Governance

  • Develop and execute account strategies focused on retention, client satisfaction, measurable value, and long-term growth.
  • Lead recurring client governance meetings, executive updates, and quarterly business reviews.
  • Provide clear reporting on performance, savings, service levels, financial results, risks, and strategic priorities.
  • Maintain visibility into account health, stakeholder engagement, renewal status, profitability, and growth opportunities.
  • Identify relationship or performance risks early and develop mitigation plans with Account Management leadership and internal partners.

Service Performance and Escalation Management

  • Oversee service level agreement performance, deliverables, open issues, and client commitments across assigned enterprise accounts.
  • Serve as the initial senior-level point of coordination for complex client issues and escalate significant risks to the Vice President of Account Management.
  • Partner with Operations, Product, Finance, Technology, and other teams to drive timely resolution and corrective action.
  • Monitor claims aging, recovery execution, payment, and related client actions that may affect outcomes or revenue.
  • Ensure clear ownership, deadlines, documentation, and follow-through for client and internal action items.

Retention and Enterprise Account Growth

  • Identify and develop cross-sell, upsell, and new-solution opportunities across enterprise client organizations.
  • Build business cases and consultative recommendations that demonstrate MedReview’s value and support account expansion.
  • Support renewals, pricing, contracting, and scope discussions in partnership with Account Management leadership and other internal stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with Business Development, Product, and Operations to evaluate and advance expansion opportunities.
  • Monitor changes in the client environment, competitive activity, and market needs that may affect the relationship.

Leadership and Internal Coordination

  • Provide guidance and support to Account Managers on client strategy, business reviews, issue resolution, and account planning.
  • Lead cross-functional account teams and promote accountability for enterprise client commitments.
  • Bring enterprise client feedback and market insight to Product, Operations, and leadership teams.
  • Support complex new-client and new-solution implementations, transitions, and handoffs.
  • Maintain accurate client information, opportunities, risks, and relationship activity in the designated CRM and account management tools.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 8+ years of progressive Account Management, client success, healthcare operations, payment integrity, managed care, revenue cycle, healthcare technology, or related experience.
  • Demonstrated success managing large, complex, or enterprise healthcare clients with multiple stakeholders and service lines.
  • Experience leading executive-level client meetings, business reviews, account planning, and complex issue resolution.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare claims, payment integrity, payer operations, reimbursement, or related healthcare services.
  • Strong business and financial acumen with the ability to interpret performance information and develop client-focused recommendations.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, organization, negotiation, and follow-through skills.
  • Ability to influence and coordinate across a matrixed organization without direct authority.
  • Sound judgment and the ability to manage high-visibility, sensitive, or escalated client matters.
  • Proficiency with CRM, presentation, spreadsheet, and client reporting tools.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience managing national health plans, large payer organizations, or similarly complex enterprise clients.
  • Experience supporting multiple products, business units, or contracts within a single client relationship.
  • Experience supporting technology-enabled healthcare services or SaaS solutions.

What Success Looks Like

Within the first 12 to 24 months, this role will:

  • Build strong relationships across assigned enterprise client organizations.
  • Establish effective governance, account planning, and executive business review processes.
  • Improve visibility into account health, performance, risks, and growth opportunities.
  • Strengthen retention, client satisfaction, and executive engagement.
  • Resolve complex client issues through clear ownership and cross-functional accountability.
  • Develop and help advance qualified expansion opportunities across enterprise accounts.
  • Serve as a resource to Account Managers and improve consistency across the Account Management function.

Salary Range: $155,000 - $180,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
