🏢 METRO FOOD SOURCING belongs to the METRO Global Procurement division. The International Trading Offices or ITO: Valencia (VTO), Rotterdam (RTO) & Concarneau (CTO) are the entities in charge of the Ultra fresh procurement and it’s distribution to METRO wholesale distributors.

We are looking for a Business Process Manager to provide solutions to ITO entities and who join the team at our Purchasing Center for Fruits and Vegetables, located in Albuixech (Valencia) 📍
You will lead the team responsible for analyzing, designing, implementing, and optimizing the organization’s operational and administrative processes. You will ensure alignment with strategic objectives, efficiency, and regulatory compliance, while working cross-functionally with other departments on projects within their area of responsibility. Your key responsibilities will include:
👥📅 Coordinating and supervising the process management team, assigning tasks and ensuring deadlines and objectives are met.
🗺️📝Leading the mapping, documentation, and redesign of key business processes (BPM), identifying opportunities for improvement and automation.
⚙️💡Proposing continuous improvement methodologies(Lean, Six Sigma or similar) to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
🤝🔗 Collaborating with other functional areas (Sales, Finance, IT, Logistics, P&C, Quality) to ensure process integration across departments.
🎓👨🏫 Training teams and promoting best practices.
🎯📊Defining and monitoring KPIs.
Requisitos
What are the requirements?
🎓University degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics or a related field.
🎓 Additional training in process management, continuous improvement or digital transformation.
🌍At least 5 years of experience in similar roles, preferably in multinational environments.
👥Proven experience leading teams and managing cross-functional projects.
🍊Experience in the fruit and vegetable sector is highly valued.
🔧Proficiency in process and project modeling tools(Project, Visio, ARIS, etc.)
🔧Solid knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma or similar continuous improvement methodologies.
🖥️Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP).
📊Advanced Excel skills and other data analysis tools.
💬Fluent spoken and written English.
