We were founded in 2022 to build an AI developer platform that unifies AI development and deployment. We specialize in machine learning, AI software, and hardware, supporting technologies like TensorFlow and PyTorch.

Our platform includes the MAX Platform, Mojo, and Mammoth. The MAX Platform is an inference engine for building, optimizing, and deploying AI applications. It offers GPU portability and works with NVIDIA and AMD hardware, supporting multi-cloud deployment. It can run over 500 Generative AI models and delivers performance improvements, like up to 70% faster processing than vanilla vLLM and 80% cheaper inference costs. MAX serving containers are also small, under 700MB.

Mojo is a Python-compatible programming language for AI that allows you to write code once and deploy it across various hardware targets. Mammoth helps orchestrate large-scale AI deployments across thousands of nodes. Chris Lattner and Tim Davis co-founded Modular.

New hires come to our Los Altos, CA office for an onsite onboarding. Our interview process usually starts with an application review, followed by calls with a recruiter and the hiring manager. Then, candidates typically have four team interviews, including a culture interview, before we extend an offer.

We offer health, dental, and vision insurance plans, along with up to 5% 401k matching and parental leave. Our compensation packages include stock options and annual target bonuses.

We also provide flexible paid time off, flexible work hours, and a $1500 work-from-home stipend.
