Job Description
The role of the product management organization is focused in three core areas; execution and delivery of product approved projects for new and ongoing initiatives, support business development activities, and support the execution and maintenance of the target operating model.
The product management team consists of product line and application subject matter experts as well as business analysts that will engage with business line owners, business development, client services, CSM, IT, product development and project management office for direction, prioritization and execution of initiatives.
Objectives and Responsibilities:
- Working closely with the Private Debt Operations, Product and Technology teams as an SME lead on projects that support the product and business roadmap by contributing to the redesign of new business models; launch of new product lines and redesign of existing process and/or technology
- Support the Product lead on Product roadmap items including system integrations, platform enhancements and the roll out of new projects.
- Use your broad Debt Services knowledge to support the business development teams in client demos and act as key member to onboard new deals to the Target Operating Model.
- Support the development and enhancement of existing Loan Administration, Loan Agency and Collateral Loan Obligation (CLO) products
- Maintain a broad understanding of the Private Debt business ensuring a 360 view from loan onboarding through to ongoing loan management and NAV deliverables.
- Ability to triage and support the business as a subject matter expert in Private Debt Processing on Sentry, integrations between internal and external systems and resolve queries relating to integrations
- Act as the medium between the business and SaaS vendor to remediate training gaps, bugs and/or enhancements
- Working virtually and globally to deliver a consistent service to internal and external stakeholders irrespective of their location or time-zone.
Qualifications
- 5 - 10 years’ work experience
- 3 - 6 years’ experience in Private Debt
- 3 - 4 years’ experience using the Sentry portfolio management platform
- Strong understanding of Private Debt products, accounting, & processes including Loan Administration, Loan Agency and Collateralized Loan Obligations (CLO)
- Capable of supporting requirements and testing for business/application requests
- Candidate must be highly self-motivated and able to work both independently or as part of a team
- Ability to communicate and present information to a variety of clients, stakeholders and staff at all levels of an organization
- Fluent in both written and spoken English
