The Client Solutions team is focused on understanding and fulfilling the bespoke needs of MUFG-IS’s top clients. Critical client issues/needs can be solved via either individual projects or as part of the larger product roadmap of the organization, and it’s up to this team to move client requests through a process that achieves the best outcome for the client while ensuring that any solution fits into our goals of industrialization and automation where possible.
The team consists of business line, operational, technical and application subject matter experts who will engage with both clients as well as internal business line owners, business development, Operations, IT, Product and project management teams for collaboration, direction and prioritization of initiatives.
Job Description
Assist in the analysis, solution design and development phases of bespoke projects for MUFG Investor Services clients. These projects require business analysis and design efforts where standard operating models do not cover a client need. The analyst is expected to elicit business requirements as part of a team on any project, and also contribute to both technical and functional solution designs. This role requires some technical capabilities around database design and querying as well as developing and working with user interfaces and custom reporting.
Roles and responsibilities include the following:
- work as a developer within Client Solutions team on specific client efforts related to data and reporting
- data extraction from existing MUFG platforms/applications/data warehouses
- database design/extension for client-specific, custom solutions as required
- design and development of stored procedures, etc. utilizing extracted/stored data from existing primary sources or team-designed databases to build/store raw information, calculations, etc.
- Power BI report development (UI component) using extracted data and calculated results for ultimate use by clients
- gain an understanding of and be able to offer technical support on software and solutions under team control
Qualifications
- IT developer by training/education
- BA in Computer Science or equivalent
- T-SQL/PostgresSQL
- Power BI
- AWS/Cloud infrastructure
- Python
- Java
- Financial Services experience preferred in either a technical, business analysis or operational capacity.
