Job Description
REQUIREMENTS:
- Total Experience 6 + years
- Strong experience in Workday Financials configuration, maintenance, and support.
- Hands-on functional expertise across Workday Financial Management modules.
- Experience configuring and maintaining Workday Financial business processes and system configurations.
- Proven ability to gather business requirements and translate them into scalable Workday Financial solutions.
- Strong understanding of Workday Financial architecture, business processes, security concepts, and configuration best practices.
- Experience supporting Workday Financial enhancements, releases, testing, and production support.
- Ability to collaborate with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to deliver effective functional solutions.
- Experience developing and maintaining functional and technical documentation, including business requirements, configuration documents, test plans, and user guides.
- Strong understanding of Workday Financial reporting and system capabilities.
- Ability to ensure Workday Financial solutions align with business objectives and organizational standards.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex functional issues.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to communicate technical and functional concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders and business leaders.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills with the ability to mentor and guide team members.
- Experience working in Agile development and project delivery environments.
- Workday Financials Certification is preferred.
- Experience supporting enterprise-scale Workday Financial environments is a plus.
- Availability to work during US business hour overlap.
- shift: 1:00 PM – 10:00 PM IST.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Configure, maintain, and support Workday Financial Management modules based on business requirements.
- Act as the Functional Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Workday Financials and related business processes.
- Collaborate with finance teams, business stakeholders, and IT teams to gather requirements and design effective Workday Financial solutions.
- Analyze business processes and recommend system improvements to maximize Workday Financial capabilities and operational efficiency.
- Configure and maintain Workday Financial business processes, security, and functional settings.
- Ensure Workday Financial solutions are aligned with organizational business needs, compliance requirements, and best practices.
- Lead Workday Financial enhancements, releases, testing, validation, and production support activities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex functional and system-related issues within the Workday Financial platform.
- Develop and maintain functional and technical documentation, including configuration documents, technical specifications, test plans, process flows, and user guides.
- Monitor new Workday Financial features and recommend adoption of relevant functionality and best practices.
- Ensure Workday solutions are delivered on time and within project timelines.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to team members to support their technical and professional growth.
- Collaborate with IT leadership to ensure Workday Financial solutions align with the organization’s overall technology strategy.
- Support Agile project delivery methodologies and participate in planning, testing, implementation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Communicate functional and technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
