About Platform Distribution & Partnerships: Platform Distribution and Partnerships is a division of NBCUniversal’s media group responsible for the distribution and monetization of the company’s multi-billion-dollar linear and streaming services portfolio to pay-tv providers, NBC broadcast affiliates, consumer technology platforms and devices, and consumer brands. A key revenue-generator, the division is comprised of content distribution, affiliate relations and strategic partnerships across NBC, Peacock, Bravo, Telemundo and various FAST channels.

Job Description: The Manager, Partner Marketing will play a critical role overseeing the marketing strategy and day-to-day management of NBCU’s key MVPD distribution partners. This is a high profile, cross-functional role with touch points across Peacock and the larger NBCU enterprise. This role will provide consultative recommendations to internal teams regarding MVPD marketing strategy, as well as directly execute media campaigns on distribution partner platforms.

Day to Day

  • Support Vice President and Senior Director with day to day account management
  • Manage Partner Relationships: Serve as a point of contact for external and internal partners and cross functional teams, fostering strong and collaborative relationships to drive mutual success
  • Scale, nurture, and optimize partnerships beyond launch, identifying incremental, mutually beneficial opportunities to grow the partnership with a focus on building a marketing roadmap that drives growth and engagement
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders including Business Development, Legal, Media Analytics, Title Marketing, and more
  • Develop and activate marketing and media strategy across platforms aligned with company goals and KPIs
  • Provide data-driven recommendations and insights guiding the marketing budget allocation and forecasting
  • Lead and mentor team members, including directly managing a Coordinator of Partner Marketing; provide clear direction, professional development, and performance management to elevate team capabilities and impact

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in marketing function or partnerships
  • Prior experience tracking and organizing multiple projects, which require senior-level approvals
  • Excellent computer skills including but not limited to Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint; comfort building reports and presentations from scratch
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field

Desired Characteristics

  • Media and Entertainment experience strongly preferred
  • Must be an excellent communicator and relationship manager, both internally and externally
  • Strong analytical skills with a history of deep diving into data to tell the larger story
  • Excellent communication skills with a focus on getting messages across concisely
  • Comfort with a fast-paced, always-on, always changing environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Experience with people management preferred
  • Stays up to date on digital trends, emerging technologies, entertainment streaming platforms, entertainment partnership and competitive marketing

Additional Requirements

Hybrid: This position currently has a hybrid schedule, which requires contributing from the office a minimum of four days per week. The Company reserves the right to change in-office requirements at any time.
