Job Description
NBCUniversal Telemundo Enterprises is seeking a Vice President, Advanced Analytics to lead high-impact, data-driven insights across content performance, marketing effectiveness, and audience behavior. This role will be responsible for defining standardized measurement frameworks, building sophisticated forecasting and modeling capabilities, and translating advanced analytics into clear strategic recommendations that drive growth, retention, and monetization across Telemundo’s digital portfolio.
The Vice President, Advanced Analytics is responsible for:
Measurement & KPI Standardization
- Develop, own, and standardize enterprise-level KPIs for content performance and marketing effectiveness across platforms.
- Establish consistent measurement frameworks, definitions, and reporting methodologies to enable comparability and executive decision-making.
- Ensure KPIs align with broader business objectives, including growth, engagement, retention, and revenue.
Advanced Modeling & Forecasting
- Design and oversee sophisticated forecasting models to project future growth, demand, and performance across content, audiences, and platforms.
- Support long-range planning, resource allocation, and investment decisions through scenario modeling and sensitivity analysis.
- Partner with Finance and Strategy teams to integrate forecasts into business planning and performance management.
Audience Analytics & Behavioral Modeling
- Lead audience segmentation and behavioral modeling efforts to understand viewing patterns, churn drivers, and lifecycle dynamics.
- Identify opportunities to improve retention and unlock upsell or cross-sell opportunities through predictive and prescriptive analytics.
- Translate complex analytical findings into clear, actionable insights for senior leadership and cross-functional partners.
Leadership & Team Management
- Manage and mentor two direct reports, fostering a culture of analytical rigor, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Set clear priorities, performance expectations, and development plans for the team.
- Ensure best practices in data governance, modeling standards, and documentation.
Stakeholder Partnership & Influence
- Serve as a trusted thought partner to senior leaders across Content, Marketing, Product, Operations & Technology
- Collaborate closely with Research to align on measurement standardization, forecasting and modeling approaches
- Communicate insights effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences, including executive-level presentations.
- Champion the use of advanced analytics and data-driven decision-making across the organization.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications :
Required
- 12+ years of experience in analytics, data science, or related fields, with significant experience in media, entertainment, streaming, or consumer-focused businesses.
- Proven track record building and operationalizing advanced analytics, forecasting, and predictive models at scale.
- Deep expertise in audience analytics, segmentation, churn modeling, and marketing measurement.
- Strong leadership experience managing senior individual contributors or managers.
- Exceptional ability to translate complex analysis into clear business insights and recommendations.
Desired Characteristics :
- Advanced degree in Statistics, Economics, Data Science, Applied Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience working with large-scale behavioral data and modern analytics tools (e.g., Python, R, SQL, cloud-based data platforms).
- Familiarity with subscription, ad-supported, or hybrid media business models.
- Works well under pressure.

Additional Requirements:
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
- Must be covered by Solutions, NBCU’s Alternative Dispute Resolution Program
Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of four days per week.

Salary range: $200,000 - $250,000 (bonus and long-term incentive eligible)
