Job Description
Your role as a IT Demand Manager is to ensure a structured, transparent, and strategically aligned process for capturing, evaluating, and managing business requirements across all Business Services areas. The IT Demand Manager ensures that high-quality, well-prepared demands flow into portfolio and project governance and supports stakeholders through professional moderation, eAective communication, and methodical guidance.
Qualifications
- Receipt, classification, and initial evaluation of requirements from all Business Services areas;
- Ensuring completeness and quality of demand data;
- Close collaboration with business stakeholders, IT business partners, portfolio owners, and project managers;
- Moderation of demand workshops and review meetings;
- Preparation of decision templates for portfolio boards;
- Support in prioritization and strategic evaluation of demands;
- Maintenance of the demand database in ServiceNow SPM;
- Creation of dashboards, reports, and status overviews;
- Further development of demand management processes, templates, and KPIs;
- Training of business departments in the use of ServiceNow SPM;
- Methodological responsibility for the demand management process within Business Services;
- Authority to decide on the formal acceptance and classification of demands;
- Right to propose prioritization and rejection of requirements;
- Moderation authority in demand workshops and review meetings.
Required Skills
- Experience in demand, portfolio, or project management;
- Experience in working with international and interdisciplinary teams;
- Proven success in managing complex requirements and stakeholder communication;
- Experience with project management methodologies (PMI, PRINCE2, agile frameworks);
- Understanding of business processes and IT system landscapes;
- Ability to create reports, dashboards, and decision templates;
- Excellent English language skills;
- Strong communication, moderation and teamwork skills, combined with a high level of service orientation;
- Analytical and conceptual thinking skills with a structured and self-reliant working style;
- Intercultural competence and diplomatic skills.
