Job Description
We are looking for a Software Engineer to support the further development of our AI team and the underlying LabV platform. Strong software engineering background and initial experience with LLMs—or a clear motivation to grow in this area. Solid backend engineering, microservices, and platform integration, with opportunities to expand into LLM-related development.
Qualifications
Responsibilities
- Understand and analyze laboratory use cases processed via LabV (e.g., quality analysis of recyclates).
- Develop, extend, and maintain microservices and APIs that interface with our AI assistant and LabV platform.
- Contribute to the integration of LLM tools and AI functionality into production-grade systems.
- Ensure scalable, observable, and well-tested backend services.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines, cloud deployments, and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) configurations.
- Support the development of conversational interfaces powered by LLMs.
- Collaborate with the AI team to translate platform requirements into robust software systems.
Requirements
- Strong experience in Python and modern software engineering practices.
- Experience with microservices, API design, and backend integration.
- Knowledge of cloud deployment, CI/CD, testing, IaC, observability, and scalability concepts.
- Initial exposure to LLMs, AI models, or prompt-based interfaces—or strong motivation to learn.
- Experience with modern development tooling and best practices.
- Willingness to develop skills in LLM tooling, embeddings, RAG, and conversational AI over time.
