So, what’s the role all about?
We are seeking a proactive and highly analytical Software Engineer to join our team.
How will you make an impact?
- Provide L2/L3 application support for complex, multi-tier applications.
- Monitor and manage application performance using APM tools such as AppDynamics and Dynatrace.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex performance and availability issues across cloud and on-prem environments.
- Manage containerized applications deployed in Kubernetes environments.
- Support cloud infrastructure components such as AWS services (EC2, S3, IAM, ELB, VPC, VPN).
- Perform OS-level troubleshooting on Windows and Linux systems.
- Analyze database performance issues across SQL, Oracle, Postgres, or Cassandra.
- Support middleware/application servers such as Tomcat, WebLogic, or WebSphere.
- Investigate networking and load balancer-related issues affecting application performance.
- Use tools like OpsGenie, Nagios, and Rundeck for monitoring and incident management.
- Work within ITSM tools and follow structured incident, problem, and change management processes.
- Contribute to automation efforts using scripting languages such as Ansible, Python, Shell, PowerShell, Perl, or Ruby.
- Collaborate in Agile/Sprint development environments to ensure smooth production releases.
- Ensure compliance with cloud and application-level security best practices.
Have you got what it takes?
- 2–3 years of relevant experience in Application Support / Production Support.
- Strong experience managing multi-tier (2-tier/3-tier) applications.
- Excellent troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
- Hands-on experience with: APM tools (AppDynamics, Dynatrace), Cloud environments (AWS preferred),Kubernetes and containerized applications, Middleware technologies (Tomcat, WebLogic, WebSphere), Databases (SQL, Oracle, Postgres, Cassandra)
- Strong understanding of networking fundamentals and load balancing concepts.
- OS-level expertise in Windows or Linux environments.
- Experience working in DevOps, Infrastructure Operations, or Application Operations teams.
- Good scripting knowledge (Shell, Python, Ansible, PowerShell, etc.).
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
