We are a nonprofit lender and consultant founded in 1980.

We work with mission-driven organizations, funders, and networks, offering financing, consulting, and advocacy. Our services include tailored financing, expert guidance, and financial tools for nonprofits. We also help funders and investors maximize the impact of their grants and investments.

We support nonprofits in acquiring, developing, and creating community-owned assets. We use a full cost framework to help nonprofits and funders understand complete financial needs. We research and listen to nonprofit leaders nationwide to identify sector challenges and opportunities.

Since our founding, we’ve provided $1.7 billion in financing and supported projects totaling $6.3 billion nationwide. We currently manage an active loan portfolio of $348 million.
