NRG Consulting Group

Naomi Roth-Gaudette founded NRG Consulting Group in 2018. We connect candidates with mission-driven organizations throughout the progressive movement. We offer customized search services for organizations looking for talent, and for job seekers, we provide access to our current searches, a talent network, and career coaching.

In 2024, we placed 244 candidates with 79 mission-driven organizations. Of these, 55% identified as people of color, and 59% identified as women or gender nonconforming. We also placed 45 C-suite leaders and 137 campaign staff across 14 states for the 2024 election, and worked with 11 philanthropic organizations.

Our career coaching services include resume reviews ($200), interview preparation ($200/hour), private coaching ($800 for 4 hours, $1800 for 10 hours), small group sessions ($100), and 4-week cohort programs ($600).

Our mission is to “build teams, so you can build movements.” We achieve this by connecting exceptional talent with organizations. We work with mission-driven organizations in the progressive movement, focusing on relationships and speed in our approach.

NRG Consulting Group has 11-50 employees, including staff and consultants who come from the progressive movement. Clients describe our culture as high-touch, hands-on, and customized. We offer cohesive, coordinated, and strategic support for our clients’ hiring needs.

For career coaching, our approach is practical and personal. We help job seekers identify challenges and stay accountable.

We offer comprehensive benefits for our employees and their families, including medical, dental, and vision coverage. Some plans are 100% employer-paid and may include a Health Reimbursement Account (HRA) and Flexible Spending Account (FSA).

For retirement, we offer a 401(k) plan with potential employer contributions, such as a 6% match or a 3% automatic contribution plus up to a 3% match.

Our paid time off includes:

• 4 weeks of vacation (22 days)
• 2 weeks of health leave (10 sick days)
• 9 standard holidays and 4 floating holidays (10 paid holidays total)
• Winter and summer closure weeks

• 20 volunteer hours

We also provide 100% employer-paid long-term disability, short-term disability, and basic life insurance. Employees receive an annual allowance for professional development, coaching, and management support through regular 1:1 meetings, performance reviews, and feedback.
