Job Title: DevOps Engineer
Location: Miami, FL (Hybrid – 3 days onsite per week)
Duration: 1 Year (Extension likely)
Role Summary
We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to design and implement end-to-end DevOps and SRE solutions supporting enterprise-scale initiatives. This role will enhance automation, observability, and deployment efficiency across cloud and on-prem environments, driving modernization and continuous improvement in CI/CD, monitoring, and API integration within a hybrid infrastructure setup.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab, or Azure DevOps.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to automate deployments and ensure observability.
- Manage cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or Ansible).
- Develop monitoring and alerting strategies using Grafana, Prometheus, and DataDog.
- Ensure compliance and security best practices across the DevOps lifecycle.
- Integrate API Management tools (Apigee, Kong, Microsoft APIM) into enterprise solutions.
- Support SRE practices for reliability and scalability within production systems.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on DevOps experience in enterprise environments.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, CI/CD, DevOps Foundation, and SRE concepts.
- Proven experience with cloud-native infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Knowledge in API management solutions (Apigee, Kong, or APIM).
- Hands-on expertise in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or Ansible).
- Familiarity with Auth0 authentication and RBAC implementation.
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, or PowerShell).
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Certifications
- Required: DevOps Foundation Certification (DevOps Institute or equivalent)
- Preferred: AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Expert, or Google Professional DevOps Engineer
Additional Notes
- Candidate must be eligible to work in the U.S.
- Strong background in banking or financial technology is a plus.
- English fluency required; Portuguese is preferred.
