Tennis Trainee
Are you a hard-working and focused individual who is interested in a career in sports? The Trainee position in our Tennis division will provide you with hands-on experience in the day-to-day management of professional athletes and events. Throughout the course of the trainee program, you will work closely with our Tennis staff and assist in a variety of projects and tasks. The position follows a hybrid work model and may require some travel. It is a paid, limited-term role with a minimum of 25 hours per week.
Who we’re looking for:
- You have outstanding written and verbal communications skills
- You are resourceful, with a proven track record of an intelligent and analytical approach to problem solving
- You have excellent organizational skills
- You’re able to multi-task proficiently and meet strict deadlines
- You are great at working both with a team and independently
- You’re proficient in all Microsoft Office applications and market research tools
- Knowledge of sports is a plus
The work you’ll do…
- Assist with various client servicing assignments, including visa applications, hotel reservations and travel arrangements, coordinate international shipments and address other client needs
- Assist with business development projects, including researching potential endorsements, industry trends and other assigned projects
- Provide administrative support with duties such as answering telephone calls, arranging meetings and conference calls, and respond to internal and external general inquires
- Assist with updating client bios, client recruitment and sponsor presentations
- Assist with updating social media websites for clients and Octagon Tennis
- Schedule travel arrangements for division team members in specific circumstances
- Travel may be required
