The Opportunity:
We’re seeking a Remuneration Lead to design, deliver and continuously enhance OES’s remuneration frameworks, policies and processes. This pivotal role ensures our reward practices are equitable, market‑aligned, commercially sound and compliant, while empowering leaders with high‑quality insights to make informed, strategic decisions. You’ll take ownership of remuneration governance, annual review cycles, people cost modelling, workforce reporting and insights, and will play a key role in supporting our Board and Remuneration Committee through high‑quality papers and analysis.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and continuously enhance OES’s remuneration and job classification frameworks, including benchmarking, job evaluation and salary structure governance
Provide expert remuneration advice to leaders, ensuring decisions are equitable, market‑competitive and compliant with relevant legislation and industrial instruments
Manage and deliver the full annual remuneration review cycle, including design, budgeting, modelling, system preparation and leader support.
Working with the HR and Finance teams, to contribute towards designing and executing, incentive and commission programs, including modelling, allocation guidance and outcomes reporting
Monitor market trends, regulatory changes and emerging reward practices, assessing their impact on remuneration strategy.
Partner with Finance and People leaders to contribute to cost budgets, forecasts and workforce cost modelling
Deliver accurate remuneration and people data reporting, dashboards and reporting tools, and translating insights into clear recommendations.
Help prepare high‑quality Board and Remuneration Committee papers, coordinating analysis, insights and recommendations to support effective governance and decision‑making.
About you
Tertiary qualifications in either HR, Business, Commerce, Economics, Finance or similar.
Extensive experience in remuneration, reward, people analytics
Strong analytical ability, advanced Excel skills and excellent data modelling capability
Proven experience delivering annual remuneration review cycles.
Strong commercial acumen and the ability to translate people cost impacts leaders.
Exceptional communication skills and attention to detail.
Experience with HRIS and remuneration tools (desirable).
Experience supporting Board or RemCo reporting (desirable).
