What you’ll be doing

As a Crypto Native Sales Representative, you will be instrumental in executing OpenZeppelin’s go-to-market strategy - from outbound prospecting to closing deals - while laying the groundwork for scaling our sales organization and growing company revenue. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the full sales cycle with web3 projects, from lead generation and prospecting to contract negotiation and deal closure.
  • Leading discovery conversations with key stakeholders, including C-level executives, to understand client needs and effectively communicate OpenZeppelinโ€™s value proposition.
  • Driving revenue growth in the region by consistently meeting and exceeding your sales targets.
  • Staying informed on rapidly evolving market trends and competitive dynamics to proactively shape outreach and guide opportunities.
  • Representing OpenZeppelin at key industry events, conferences, and trade shows to build relationships and uncover new business opportunities.
  • Maintaining accurate pipeline forecasts, tracking performance, and refining your sales approach using data-driven insights.

Location

  • All positions at OpenZeppelin are 100% remote, however you must located between UTC-8 and UTC+3 to be considered for this position.

You have

  • 3+ years of experience in enterprise, full cycle sales with a proven track record of consistently exceeding revenue targets.
  • Experience with Hubspot or a similar CRM.
  • Experience selling cybersecurity products and/or services to developers or other technical customers.
  • Strong understanding of Web3: smart contracts, DeFi, DAOs, Layer 2 Rollups, etc.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to both work in a team and independently to meet deadlines.
  • Data-driven mindset with creativity and adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Prioritization, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Positive attitude, proactivity, and openness to feedback.
  • Extreme attention to detail.
  • Proven success working in a remote-first, globally distributed team.

Nice to have

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in business, finance, or a related field.
  • Professional experience selling blockchain solutions and/or services.
  • A well-established network in the blockchain ecosystem, including founders and industry leaders.

Our interview process takes place on Zoom and consists of the following stages:

  • Recruiter call (30-45 minutes)
  • Hiring Manager call (45 minutes)
  • Team member interview (30 minutes)
  • Leadership call (30 minutes)
  • Paid work test (lasting up to 7 days)
  • Reference checks
