Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Client Delivery & Engagement
Lead and deliver complex consulting engagements for Swedish Defence clients, ensuring high-quality outcomes, measurable impact, and client satisfaction.
Act as a trusted day-to-day advisor to senior client stakeholders, supporting decision-making across strategy, technology, and transformation initiatives.
Translate Defence and security challenges into actionable solutions spanning digital, data, AI, programme delivery, and organisational change.
Business Development & Market Contribution
Support Partners in identifying and pursuing new opportunities within the Swedish Defence market, including contribution to bids, proposals, and client presentations.
Build and maintain strong relationships across government, armed forces, and Defence industry stakeholders, helping position PA as a trusted delivery partner.
Contribute to account development activities and help expand existing client relationships through excellent delivery and insight-led conversations.
Leadership & Team Development
Lead project teams, providing clear direction, coaching, and quality assurance across multi-disciplinary consultants.
Act as a role model for PA values, fostering an inclusive, high-performance culture focused on curiosity, collaboration, and delivery excellence.
Support the development of junior colleagues through mentoring, performance feedback, and capability building.
Thought Leadership & Capability Building
Stay current on trends shaping the Swedish and international Defence landscape, including policy, procurement, digitalisation, and emerging technologies.
Contribute to internal capability development, propositions, and thought leadership relevant to Defence and security clients.
Collaborate with PA colleagues across geographies to bring the best of PA’s global expertise to Swedish engagements.
Qualifications
Key Qualifications & Experience
Proven consulting experience at Managing Consultant / Senior Manager level (or equivalent), ideally within Defence, security, government, or adjacent regulated sectors.
Strong understanding of the Swedish Defence and security environment, including key stakeholders, policy context, and procurement landscape.
Demonstrated experience delivering complex consulting engagements involving transformation, technology, or programme delivery.
Track record of contributing to business development through bids, proposals, and account growth (ownership rather than ultimate accountability).
Experience working with digital, data, AI, or advanced technology solutions in Defence or security contexts.
Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Fluency in Swedish and English.
Eligible for, or able to obtain, relevant security clearance.
