We were established in Chicago in 1988 as a recruiting firm. We help companies in the United States and the Asia-Pacific region connect through talent. We specialize in executive and professional search nationwide, handling full-time, contract, temporary, and temp-to-hire positions. Our focus is on placing candidates with specific language and skill combinations, especially for Japanese-affiliated companies. We also offer translation and interpretation services. We recruit both bilingual and non-bilingual professionals for roles from entry-level to executive in areas like Senior Management, Accounting, HR, Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Administration, and Bilingual Assistance. We work with clients in the Automotive, Electronics, Banking, Machinery, and Transportation industries. Pacific Advisory Service is certified as a Women/Minority Business Enterprise.

Our mission is to make the best possible matches between clients and candidates. We handle every assignment with professionalism and confidentiality. We believe in giving personalized attention to understand both our clients’ hiring needs and candidates’ personal traits. Pacific Advisory Service has between 11 and 50 employees, including experienced English and Japanese native speakers. The team uses a qualification process to ensure candidates understand how they fit with job openings and corporate cultures. This allows them to effectively assess candidate qualifications.
