Job summary
The Director of Strategic Alliances is responsible for developing and executing on PairSoft’s alliance redistribution and partner management strategy in Europe.
The incumbent will plan, track and execute on KPIs set for the area under the direct oversight of the SVP, Business Development.
Location: The preferred location is the Netherlands or Finland, but we are open to consider strong candidates at other European locations. Unrestricted work authorizations is required.
Responsibilities
- Ensuring a clear GTM strategy is set with the partner early in engagement lifecycle
- Driving demand with partners for PairSoft products and services, focusing on EU products
- Collaborating with the Sales and Marketing Teams to identify and recruit prospective revenue channels
- Work closely with inside business development rep on pursuit of pre-qualified revenue channel
- Direct the activities and manage the performance of Channel Sales Managers within a region, setting expectations and providing guidance and direction as needed
- Develop proper channel coverage plan, and reseller and/or distributor recruitment and on-boarding
- Performs continual client interactions
- Collaborate with product marketing managers on all marketing campaigns for the assigned channels
- Create strategies and lead team efforts to maximize sell-through of company products within the open market channels (include but not limited to distributors, master dealers)
- Relationship Management (Familiar with and manages different stakeholders within the channel community
- Prefer to have Dutch language skills
Requirements
- At least bachelor’s degree, advanced education preferred
- At least 7+ years of experience in revenue operations channel management in SaaS / high growth company setting
- 2+ years of leadership experience in Sales & Marketing or Revenue Operations at a fast-growing SaaS start-up.
- Proven experience building a Channel Revenue Operations strategy from the ground up.
- Hands-on experience managing a wide variety of revenue technology; CRM tools like HubSpot and Salesforce, outbound tools like Outreach, marketing automation tools like HubSpot, customer success platforms like Zendesk, billing tools like Stripe, and other lead routing, planning, and reporting tools.
- Critical thinker, you don’t take directives at face value, you consider the task at hand, offering constructive feedback to improve processes.
- Experience with data analysis, segmentation, and reporting, you can give examples of how you’ve used data to make decisions.
- Proven history of driving multiple complex projects at the same time to on-time completion in a fast-moving environment.
- Have strong quantitative skills and are highly data fluent - you’re able to develop and communicate penetrating insights that inform how we organize and scale our revenue teams.
- Openness to travel including internationally up to 50%
Work and Physical Requirements
This position may work from home and/or office environment. Working in an office environment may require prolonged sitting, work in an air-conditioned environment, ability to work with others at various noise levels and ability to lift up to 30 pounds or 15 kg.
Travel requirements
This position will be required to travel ad hoc, both regionally and internationally. Must own and maintain valid passport and driver’s license, along with any needed travel visas.
