About the Role
At Pavago, one of our clients is hiring a Senior Creative Strategist – Paid Social (Meta Ads) to lead creative-first performance marketing across Facebook and Instagram advertising campaigns.
This is not a traditional media buying role focused only on dashboards and optimization.
Your primary edge should come from your ability to:
- develop winning ad concepts
- create compelling hooks and messaging
- write high-converting creative briefs
- shape storytelling that drives conversions
- scale campaigns through creative iteration
You will own campaigns from:
idea → creative strategy → launch → optimization → scale

What You’ll Own
Paid Social Campaign Management
Own and scale Facebook & Instagram ad campaigns across multiple accounts
Manage campaign performance from:
- concepting
- launch
- optimization
- scaling
Handle monthly ad budgets ranging from:
- $10K–$250K+
Maintain accountability for:
- CPL
- CPA
- ROAS
- conversion performance
Creative Strategy (Primary Focus)
Develop original:
- ad angles
- hooks
- messaging frameworks
- campaign narratives
Write high-converting creative briefs for:
- designers
- video editors
- UGC creators
Lead UGC strategy, including:
- scripting
- storytelling
- video direction
- performance-focused concepts
Contribute directly to ad ideation and creative execution
Continuously test and iterate new creative concepts
Performance Optimization
Analyze campaign performance daily
Identify winning creatives and scale them effectively
Optimize:
- audiences
- offers
- creatives
- messaging
Make data-driven decisions based on campaign insights
Creative + Data Feedback Loop
Use performance data to refine:
- messaging
- hooks
- storytelling
- positioning
Understand why creatives perform — not just what performs
Improve campaign efficiency through continuous creative testing

Work closely with:
- designers
- editors
- internal marketing teams
Align campaigns with revenue and growth goals

Requirements (Must-Have)
Experience
3+ years running Facebook & Instagram ads at a high level
Proven experience managing:
- $10,000+/month ad spend
- preferably significantly larger budgets
Experience handling multiple accounts simultaneously (5+ preferred)
Creative Strategy Experience
Strong hands-on involvement in:
- ad concepting
- creative strategy
- messaging development
- creative brief writing
- storytelling for paid ads
Ability to create:
- high-converting UGC concepts
- static ad concepts
- video ad narratives
Technical & Platform Skills
Strong command of:
- Meta Ads Manager
- Facebook Business Suite
- Meta Pixel
- conversion tracking
- campaign optimization
Strong copywriting ability for:
- hooks
- CTAs
- ad messaging
Important
Candidates who have only managed campaigns operationally without contributing directly to:
