Social Media Manager

Position Type: Full-Time, Remote

Working Hours: U.S. Client Business Hours

Location: Remote (LATAM, Pakistan, Philippines, South Africa Preferred)

About the Role

Our client is seeking a creative, strategic, and data-driven Social Media Manager to lead social media strategy, execution, and performance across multiple digital platforms.

This role combines content strategy, community engagement, campaign execution, and performance analysis to help grow brand visibility, audience engagement, and business impact. The ideal candidate understands platform-specific content, stays ahead of social trends, and knows how to turn social media activity into measurable business outcomes.

You will work closely with marketing, creative, and leadership teams to ensure the brand maintains a strong, engaging, and consistent presence across all channels.

What You’ll Own

Social Media Strategy & Planning

• Develop and execute social media strategies aligned with broader marketing and business objectives

• Define KPIs for engagement, audience growth, traffic, and conversions across each platform

• Build and manage content calendars across LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X (Twitter), and YouTube

• Identify content opportunities, trends, and platform-specific growth strategies

Content Creation & Publishing

• Write, edit, and publish engaging content tailored to each platform

• Collaborate with designers, video editors, and content teams to produce multimedia assets

• Ensure all content aligns with brand tone, messaging, and campaign goals

• Schedule and manage posts using tools such as Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social, or HubSpot

• Repurpose long-form content into platform-specific formats to maximize reach and engagement

Community Management & Engagement

• Monitor comments, DMs, mentions, and audience interactions daily

• Respond professionally and promptly to community inquiries and conversations

• Escalate customer support or reputation-related concerns appropriately

• Foster community engagement through thoughtful interaction and user-generated content amplification

Campaign Execution

• Launch and manage organic and paid social campaigns supporting product launches, events, and brand initiatives

• Collaborate with paid media teams to optimize campaign performance and targeting

• Support influencer collaborations, partnerships, and UGC initiatives where applicable

Analytics & Performance Reporting

• Track and analyze performance metrics across social channels using native analytics, Google Analytics, or Sprout Social

• Prepare weekly and monthly reports highlighting engagement, reach, traffic, and conversion trends

• Conduct A/B testing and performance analysis to improve campaign effectiveness

• Recommend strategic optimizations based on data insights and platform trends

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with marketing, PR, content, and customer support teams to align messaging and initiatives

• Share audience insights and performance learnings to improve campaigns and positioning

• Coordinate with creative teams to maintain consistency across all social assets and campaigns

Required Experience & Skills

• 2+ years of professional social media management experience

• Experience managing multiple social platforms including LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X, and/or YouTube

• Proficiency with social scheduling and analytics tools such as Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Buffer, or HubSpot

• Strong writing, editing, and content creation skills

• Familiarity with design tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite

• Strong understanding of engagement metrics, audience growth, and content optimization

Preferred Experience

• Experience managing brand accounts in SaaS, e-commerce, agencies, or professional services

• Experience with influencer partnerships and UGC campaigns

• Familiarity with paid social advertising platforms

• Experience handling brand reputation or social media crisis management

• Experience supporting founder-led or personal brand social media growth

What a Typical Day Looks Like

A Social Media Manager’s day revolves around planning, publishing, engaging, and optimizing. You will:

• Review notifications, comments, DMs, and audience engagement activity

• Create and schedule posts aligned with the content calendar

• Collaborate with creative teams on campaign assets and content ideas

• Monitor platform performance and optimize based on analytics

• Engage with audiences and support community-building efforts

• Update reporting dashboards and prepare upcoming social campaigns

In essence: you ensure the brand remains visible, engaging, and consistently connected with its audience across all social platforms.

• Audience and follower/subscriber growth

• Website traffic and lead generation from social channels
