About the Role
We’re hiring a creative and detail-oriented Website Designer to build modern, responsive, and high-converting websites across multiple CMS platforms.
This role combines strong visual design skills with hands-on website implementation. You’ll be responsible for designing layouts, building pages, customizing websites, improving performance, and ensuring every site delivers an excellent user experience across desktop and mobile devices.
This is not just a graphic design role. We’re looking for someone who can take a website from concept to launch — balancing aesthetics, usability, SEO, responsiveness, and performance optimization.
The ideal candidate understands both design and execution, thrives in fast-moving environments, and enjoys creating polished websites that drive engagement and business results.
What You’ll Own
Website Design & User Experience
• Create modern website layouts, wireframes, and high-fidelity mockups using Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch
• Design responsive user experiences optimized for desktop, tablet, and mobile devices
• Translate brand identity into visually engaging website experiences
• Ensure websites balance aesthetics, usability, accessibility, and conversion optimization
• Design landing pages, service pages, homepages, and marketing-focused web experiences
CMS Development & Website Customization
• Build and customize websites using platforms such as WordPress, Webflow, Shopify, or Squarespace
• Customize themes, templates, and page layouts using HTML, CSS, and light JavaScript
• Manage plugins, widgets, integrations, and CMS updates
• Support website launches, redesigns, and ongoing maintenance requests
• Maintain clean, organized, and scalable website structures
Website Optimization & SEO
• Optimize websites for speed, responsiveness, accessibility, and SEO performance
• Implement on-page SEO best practices including heading structure, meta tags, alt text, and image optimization
• Run audits using Google Lighthouse, GTmetrix, and PageSpeed Insights
• Improve Core Web Vitals and page load performance across devices
• Ensure websites meet modern UX and accessibility standards
Testing, QA & Maintenance
• Test websites across browsers, operating systems, and screen sizes
• Troubleshoot formatting issues, plugin conflicts, responsiveness problems, and bugs
• Maintain secure, updated, and stable website environments
• Monitor website functionality and proactively identify improvement opportunities
• Organize website assets, templates, and design systems for long-term scalability
Collaboration & Communication
• Collaborate with marketing, content, and leadership teams on campaigns and website updates
• Incorporate stakeholder feedback efficiently while protecting design quality and user experience
• Coordinate with developers or technical teams when advanced functionality is required
• Maintain clear communication around timelines, revisions, and deliverables

Required Experience & Skills
• 2+ years of professional website design experience
• Strong portfolio showcasing responsive websites, landing pages, or marketing-focused designs
• Proficiency with Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch
• Experience building and customizing websites in WordPress, Webflow, Squarespace, or Shopify
• Strong knowledge of HTML and CSS
• Experience with responsive design and mobile optimization
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
Preferred Experience
• Experience designing e-commerce websites using Shopify or WooCommerce
• Familiarity with JavaScript or front-end development fundamentals
• Experience with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, or SEO optimization tools
• Background supporting B2B SaaS, agencies, marketing companies, or e-commerce brands
• Understanding of conversion-focused website design and landing page optimization

A Website Designer’s day revolves around designing, building, and optimizing websites that support business growth. You will:
• Design new layouts, landing pages, and website sections
• Build and customize pages inside CMS platforms
• Optimize websites for speed, SEO, responsiveness, and usability

• Collaborate with marketing and content teams on campaigns and updates
• Troubleshoot issues and maintain website performance and security
