We develop AI for software development to support developers. We focus on building and scaling a Model Factory to train and experiment with foundation models. This involves designing pipelines to turn raw data into high-quality datasets, building ingestion, deduplication, and streaming systems for petabyte-scale data, and generating synthetic data to pretrain large natural language and code models. We also design and operate a secure, scalable sandboxed Agent execution environment for research and product development, bringing our Agent to new platforms. We build scalable distributed training and inference for large language models, focusing on reliability, fault tolerance, and multi-GPU training tools for source code generation. Our AI systems aim to enable economically valuable work and scientific progress.
