The Opportunity

Poppulo is seeking a motivated Integration & Implementation Engineer to support our large enterprise customers in integrating and maximising value from Poppulo’s Internal Communications platform.This is a mid-level role, reporting to the Manager, Technical Support.

The position is a hands-on technical implementation and development role, requiring strong coding, analysis, and customer-facing skills. The successful candidate will be self-motivated and detail-oriented, with excellent project management, time management, and technical troubleshooting abilities.

Poppulo’s Technical Services department is a customer-facing technical development and implementation team focused on supporting customers throughout the provisioning, implementation, and integration phases of our world-class, enterprise SaaS platform.

In this role, you will leverage your experience in development or a related technical discipline to act as a key consulting resource. You will analyse customer systems, assist with solution design and development, and provide onboarding and integration support to large organisations connecting Poppulo with their internal systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Helping customers to understand technical solutions required to integrate Poppulo with their internalsystems
  • Investigate, architect, and build new logic and flows that integrate our product with customers internal data systems
  • Producing and extending solutions, technical specifications and related documentation
  • Coordinating technical onboarding activities with customer project managers and IT stakeholders
  • Becoming a subject matter expert on the relevant areas of responsibility
  • Working with customers and other team members to identify innovative API solutions
  • Identifying consultancy opportunities where value can be given to customers
  • Providing third-level support to thePoppulocustomer support team
  • Hold scoping calls and conversations with customers to help sell additional solutions to them .
  • Managing high volumes of Onboarding, Support escalation tickets and implementing sold services and upgrades.

Experience & Skills Required

  • 4+ years’ experience in a comparable role, with a focus on B2B API integrations and low-code/no-code platforms such as Workato
  • Strong technical foundation, with hands-on experience or solid understanding of SaaS / iPaaS implementations and customer onboarding
  • Experience working in or closely with Customer Support, Implementation, Technology, or Solutions Engineering roles
  • Working knowledge of DevOps concepts, including infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and code versioning tools such as GitHub and GitLab
  • Proficiency in Ruby and/or Python.
  • Experience with scripting and data formats, including Python, Ruby, PowerShell, and JSON
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex integration issues
  • Strong communication skills and fluent English — this is a customer-facing role requiring clear, confident technical explanations and presentations
  • Experience with project coordination and delivery, managing tasks across multiple stakeholders and timelines
  • Strong time management skills, with the demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
