Job description

Position Summary:

You will be joining a dynamic and rapidly expanding business where high-performing employees have the opportunity to make a significant impact and contribute to the company’s growth. This role will allow you to leverage your advanced degree to support the development and commercialization of Oncology portfolios, assets, and brands. By leveraging your analytical expertise, you will help clients make informed decisions with confidence.

Your responsibilities will include supporting the OncoGenius team in delivering high-quality analytics and insights for oncology-focused projects. You will be working with complex healthcare datasets, validating data integrity, and creating actionable deliverables that inform product development, market access strategies, and clinical decision-making. Given the global nature of your clients, this position requires a solid understanding of the evolving biopharmaceutical market and trends.

Essential functions of the job include but are not limited to: (This is NOT meant to be an exhaustive task list)

  • Data Management & Validation:
    • Clean, validate, and maintain oncology datasets to ensure accuracy and reliability.
    • Monitor data quality and compliance with governance standards.
  • Analytics & Insight Generation:
    • Perform quantitative and qualitative analyses to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities in oncology markets.
    • Support development of analytical reports and dashboards aligned with OncoGenius.
  • Deliverable Creation:
    • Prepare clear, visually compelling reports and presentations (Excel, PowerPoint) for internal and client stakeholders.
    • Translate complex data into actionable insights for commercial and clinical teams.
  • Collaboration & Communication:
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams (product development, engineering, data science) to ensure analytic outputs meet business needs.
    • Present findings to non-technical audiences in a clear, concise manner.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Identify process inefficiencies and propose solutions to streamline data workflows.
    • Stay current with oncology market trends and analytic best practices.

Qualifications:

Minimum Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 2-3 years or master’s degree with 1-2 years of relevant work experience in Analytics: Data Science, Statistics or related field etc.
  • 1 to 3 years of professional experience focused on oncology consulting/analytics.
  • Confident communication skills to work effectively with global colleagues and contribute to client reports.
  • Ability to contribute value-added insights to available information.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office applications (Excel, Word and PowerPoint).

Other Required:

  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills, including ability to present technical concepts to lay audiences, write analysis plans for projects, pitch ideas and influence internal stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to work both collaboratively to solve complex problems and individually to research/advance areas of interest and exploration.

Preferred:

  • 1-3 years’ experience interpreting US life science agency (e.g. FDA, NCCN, etc.) oncology data
  • Experience in primary research in the pharmaceutical environment.
  • Experience in managed markets and pharma market access ecosystem
  • Knowledge of payer marketing, drug development lifecycle and drug launch processes
  • Knowledge of oncology treatment pathways/paradigms

  • Communication Skills: Written, Verbal, and Presentation: The successful candidate must have the ability to read, analyze, and interpret production data, financial reports, and legal documents. Excellent verbal, written, presentation, interpersonal skills including ability to clearly respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, employees, and members of the business community. Must possess a rapid agility to reply to emails, provide instructions of work stream necessities or issues encountered, business and report writings in a succinct and informative manner.
  • Business Judgment and Strategic Thinking: Ability to think, act, and deliver value in the best interest of our clients with respect to common practices of the healthcare consulting field. Ability to extrapolate from the specific to the general and interpret from the general to the specific.
  • Analytic Skills: Framing macro problems into action steps or work plans for resolutions. Structuring a persuasive client presentation based on in-depth or expansive excel spreadsheets. Demonstrable interpretive and solution identification skills with the ability to understand multiple types of quantitative and qualitative data heightened with strong resolution skills.
  • Collaboration and Teamwork: Ability to give and receive constructive feedback and work effectively across the organization to accomplish team goals is critical. The successful candidate must possess excellent judgment, management, and conflict resolution skills. Ability to work with team members to convey results, incorporate enhancements and productionize processes across projects. Must be able to understand the dynamics of how a team interconnects and relies upon every member.
  • Strategic Thinking: Conceptualize outside of the aspects of a project at hand, with an ability to visualize how the work contributes to and drives forward the overall project.
  • Solutions oriented: must be able to display resourcefulness and confidence under pressure
  • Resilience: must be able to look past obstacles and roadblocks, ask questions and for support, and find their way around any obstacle.
