About the role
Location: Moschato, Attica Greece
Contract: 12-month fixed term
Working model: Hybrid
Reports to: Accounting Manager
We are seeking a detail-oriented Associate Accountant to support the day-to-day operations of the accounting department. In this role, you will contribute to the accurate recording, reconciliation, and monitoring of the company’s financial transactions, while collaborating with internal teams and external partners to ensure compliance with accounting standards and tax requirements.
What you’ll do
- Enter data accurately of purchase invoices and expense documents in the accounting system
- Prepare reconciliations and review accounting entries for accuracy
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards
- Maintain digital and physical financial records
What you ‘ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 1–3 years of experience in an accounting role
- Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel
- Good understanding of accounting principles and tax legislation
- Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information
- Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and reports
- Fluency in English
