Job Title: E-commerce Manager (Shopify β DTC Brand)
Location: Remote
Role Summary:
Weβre seeking a data-driven, execution-focused E-commerce Manager to own and optimize our online storefront. This role will oversee all aspects of our Shopify store, ensuring a seamless customer experience, driving conversions, and supporting growth through merchandising, UX improvements, promotions, and backend operations. Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills are a must.
Key Responsibilities
Store Management & Optimization
Manage day-to-day operations of the Shopify store including product uploads, pricing updates, inventory syncing, and collection management.
Ensure the site is functioning properly at all times (QA, load speed, checkout flows, etc.).
Coordinate with design and development teams for landing page creation and A/B testing.
Performance & Reporting
Analyze website performance using tools such as Google Analytics, Shopify Analytics, and heatmaps.
Track KPIs including CVR, AOV, bounce rate, cart abandonment, and LTV.
Monitor and troubleshoot dips in sales or technical performance.
Merchandising & Product Launches
Plan and execute product launches, bundles, and seasonal promotions.
Update product descriptions, images, and merchandising hierarchy.
Collaborate with marketing and creative teams on campaign implementation.
Platform Integrations & Tools
Manage and maintain third-party app integrations (Klaviyo, AfterShip, Loox, Gorgias, etc.).
Ensure Shopify apps and backend logic are functioning properly and kept up to date.
Backend & Fulfillment Support
Partner with the operations team to ensure accurate fulfillment flows, shipping logic, and inventory updates.
Support customer service with product/system-related questions or issue resolution.
Qualifications
3β5+ years of experience managing a DTC e-commerce store, preferably on Shopify Plus.
Strong grasp of the Shopify admin panel and its app ecosystem (Klaviyo, Recharge, etc.).
Analytical mindset with experience in Google Analytics, GA4, or similar tools.
Working knowledge of basic HTML/CSS and familiarity with Shopify themes and Liquid (hands-on experience is a plus).
Experience collaborating cross-functionally with design, CX, marketing, and operations teams.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and responsive to fast-paced business needs.
Bonus Points
Experience in beauty, wellness, lifestyle, or consumer product industries.
Experience with headless commerce or custom Shopify builds.
Familiarity with tools like Notion, Figma, Trello/Asana, and Gorgias.
