We started in 2008 as Payfone, and our Phone-Centric Identity™ platform helps businesses verify customer identities using their phones. We help companies onboard new customers, connect with existing ones, prevent fraud, grow revenue, and cut costs. Our solutions are used by over 1,500 businesses in banking, finance, healthcare, insurance, e-commerce, lending, gaming, crypto, marketplaces, and payments, and are available in 195 countries.

We offer several products:

• Prove Pre-Fill®: Automatically fills out application forms with verified identity information, making onboarding faster and reducing fraud.
• Prove Identity®: Verifies customer identity using phone data, so no document scans or selfies are needed. It checks details like phone number, address, full name, date of birth, SSN/National Identifier, and email.
• Prove Auth®: Provides quick, easy, and secure authentication across any channel, replacing traditional passwords and one-time passcodes.
• Prove Identity Manager℠/™: A live registry of phone identity tokens that helps clients manage customer phone numbers and other identity details throughout their lifecycle.

Our platform handles over 1 billion identity tokens for consumers and small businesses, processing more than 30 billion identity and authentication events each year. We hold over 200 patents in authentication, identity verification, and fraud prevention. In 2020, Payfone rebranded to Prove and acquired mobile authentication businesses from Early Warning Services, LLC and UnifyID.
