We founded Public in 2019. We offer a multi-asset trading experience, allowing you to invest in stocks, bonds, treasuries, options, ETFs, and crypto. We also offer IRAs, direct indexing, high-yield cash accounts (with yields up to 5.5% for bond accounts and 3.3% APY for cash accounts), and margin trading with a base rate of 5.65%.

Active traders can use our API for programmatic trading and get options trading rebates ranging from $0.06 to $0.18 per contract.

We integrate AI-powered analysis through features like “Key Moments” for stock movements, AI-generated earnings recaps, and Alpha, an AI research assistant powered by OpenAI’s GPT-4. You can also create investable indices using AI-driven multi-factor analysis. We offer up to $250,000 in instant buying power.

Our account tiers are based on value: Core ($1+), Premium ($50,000+), and Concierge ($500,000+). Public Investing, Inc. is a registered broker-dealer and a member of FINRA and SIPC. This provides protection up to $500,000 for securities and cash. High-Yield Cash Accounts are protected by FDIC up to $5 million. We’re headquartered in New York and have raised over $400 million. We’re also an official partner of the Aston Martin Aramco F1® Team.
