We offer agricultural insurance and data science solutions for smallholder farmers, governments, and businesses across Africa and Asia. We use technology and parametric insurance to cover markets that were previously uninsured.

Our products include:

• Area Yield Index Insurance, which protects smallholder farmers against climate events that reduce crop yields.
• Hybrid Livestock Insurance, which provides coverage for pastoralist communities.
• European Union Deforestation Regulation Compliance services, helping agribusinesses and exporters with traceability and farmer registration.
• Data Services, which give geospatial insights and assessments for farm productivity, crop health, and climate resilience.

We also partner with governments and development partners on Public-Private Partnerships, advising on agricultural risk management and financial inclusion policies.

Since we started in 2014, our products have reached over 20.1 million smallholder farmers in 22 countries. We have protected $2.6 billion in agricultural investments and paid out $133.9 million to 2.8 million farmers. We work with 112 insurance and reinsurance partners and over 70 distribution partners, and have collected 875.6 million data points.

Our vision is to help 100 million smallholder farmers globally using insurance, data solutions, and technology. Our mission is to turn nature’s unpredictability into data-driven solutions that help these farmers succeed despite climate change.

We aim to build a large database on smallholder farmer productivity to support agricultural development in emerging markets. To do this, we partner with global reinsurers, insurers, and governments to provide widespread agricultural insurance.
