About Nexleaf Analytics

Nexleaf Analytics is a non-profit technology organization founded in 2009 and based in Los Angeles, California.

We partner with countries to use AI for digital transformation of health systems infrastructure. We develop data solutions for health workers by collecting and mobilizing real-time data, equipping and training them, and building solutions with Ministries of Health.

Our approach uses sensor-based technologies to collect data from various locations and help users take action. Our products and services include analytics dashboards, wireless sensors, and remote data collection. We address medical equipment maintenance issues in low-income countries by providing real-time data on equipment status. This enables repairs, power maintenance, and keeps hospitals and clinics connected. We also use Operational AI (Op-AI) to support health system assets and infrastructure.

Our work includes initiatives in the vaccine cold chain, improved cookstoves, climate credits, and black carbon. Our technology operates in 33 countries, protecting vaccines for 1 in 7 babies born worldwide each year. This means we connect 26,292 clinics and protect approximately $1.4 billion in vaccine value annually. The Rapid Response & Repair (R3) initiative, funded by Gavi and developed with the governments of Malawi, Rwanda, and Tanzania, aims to improve vaccine cold chain equipment performance using digital transformation. We also partner with organizations like FDI and UNICEF to safeguard vaccines, for example in Pakistan.
