Join us as a Fraud Analyst to protect our customers by detecting and preventing various types of fraud. You will be part of our newly created specialized Fraud team, focusing on safeguarding Qonto’s French market customers from scams and fraudulent activities.
đŠâđťđ§âđť As a Fraud Analyst at Qonto, you will
⢠Monitor and analyze transactions to detect fraud patterns, focusing on scams, phishing attempts, and account takeover activities
⢠Conduct risk assessments for new products and features while ensuring robust onboarding fraud prevention
⢠Investigate potential fraud cases and implement preventive measures across financing and payment products
⢠Collaborate with Risk and Security teams to enhance fraud detection capabilities and align strategies
⢠Deliver high-quality, timely fraud analysis while maintaining customer satisfaction and operational efficiency

Anamaria, our Senior Team Lead Fraud, will be the one to help you succeed.
Anamaria joined Qonto over 6 years ago as a Customer Success Officer and has built her entire fraud and risk expertise within the company. She climbed the ranks from AML-CFT Analyst to Manager, then Team Lead, and now leads fraud prevention and detection across France, Spain, and Portugal. Anamaria is passionate about staying ahead of emerging threats. She leads with a proactive and agile approach, developing innovative strategies to tackle fraud risks while protecting Qonto’s reputation and assets.
đ About You
⢠Experience: You have at least some experience (ideally 6-12 months) in fraud detection, AML, or a similar field involving alert processing and investigation
⢠Languages: You are bilingual in English and French, as you’ll be primarily handling the French market
⢠Analytical mindset: You have strong analytical and creative thinking skills to detect patterns and solve complex fraud cases
⢠Communication skills: You can communicate effectively with customers and counterparties when gathering information about potential fraud cases
⢠Learning mindset: You’re open to feedback and motivated to continuously improve your skills and knowledge
This is a full-time position based in Barcelona (office presence required some days per week, no full remote possible).
