About Quantum Circuits, Inc.

We develop full-stack quantum computing platforms using superconducting devices. Our modular and scalable architecture is based on over a decade of research at Yale University. We focus on building useful quantum computers with built-in error correction, software for fast algorithm execution, and various operating modes.

Our main innovation is superconducting Dual-Rail Cavity Qubits, which have built-in error detection and control. These qubits offer Quantum Error Detection (QED) at the qubit level, Real-Time Control Flow (RTCF) for tightly coupled classical-quantum programs (including measurement-based feedback, conditional branching, and real-time qubit reset), and Error Detection Handling (EDH) for real-time error management like mid-circuit erasure detection and user-controlled post-selection.

We believe in a “correct first, then scale” approach to achieve fault-tolerant quantum computing faster, rather than a “qubit arms race.” Our platform delivers fast, high-fidelity algorithm execution, efficient quantum-classical integration, and improved algorithms through error detection. We also offer an Alpha Program, allowing partners to run quantum applications on our hardware with error detection. We operate in the computer hardware manufacturing industry, specializing in quantum computing, quantum software and algorithms, superconducting circuits, RF engineering, and mechanical engineering.

Mission & Values

Our mission is to build the first truly useful quantum computers. We aim to create the fastest path to reliable, commercially ready quantum computing that makes a significant impact. Our core values include:

  • We foster collaboration, sharing ideas and encouraging team problem-solving in an open-minded culture.
  • We prioritize impact by developing commercial quantum computing that delivers significant global benefits.
  • We value innovation, tackling challenges with a practical, “think different” mindset.
  • We believe in exploration, helping customers discover new quantum computing capabilities and solve problems previously unapproachable.

Team & Culture

We have a collaborative, small-team environment where individuals, from quantum compiler engineers to RF hardware designers, contribute to architectural decisions. Our culture encourages employees to be bold and fearless as we aim to create, move, and lead the quantum computing market. We foster an open-minded approach, empowering teams to solve problems and optimize solutions together. We focus on achieving stable, fault-tolerant quantum computers that deliver consistent, repeatable results for businesses and beyond, rather than engaging in a “qubit arms race.” Our work environment offers the opportunity to influence the quantum industry’s growth, with remote or hybrid options based in New Haven, CT.

Benefits & Perks

We offer our employees a competitive salary, a 401k with a company match, and medical, dental, and vision benefits. Other perks include being near Yale University in New Haven, CT, with access to great local pizza, impromptu soccer games, and easy travel to New York City and Boston.
