The Role:

The Swedish Sport Brand and Marketing Manager is responsible for both the brand and the marketing strategy, from setting direction to making sure initiatives are delivered and live. The role ensures a clear and consistent brand across all touchpoints while driving audience growth, traffic, and engagement through effective use of marketing and distribution channels. This is a hands-on role that combines strategic thinking with fast execution and close collaboration across teams.

As a Swedish Sport Brand and Marketing Manager, you are expected to:

  • Own and develop brand positioning, identity, and tone of voice for assigned products and markets.

  • Set the overall marketing and distribution strategy across channels, including identifying and building new traffic streams.

  • Develop clear marketing plans and concepts and take responsibility for getting them live across channels.

  • Ensure a consistent and credible brand expression across all platforms and audience touchpoints.

  • Lead and manage a team, providing clear priorities, direction, and support to enable efficient delivery.

  • Work closely with Product, UX/UI, Site Management, Legal/Compliance, and commercial teams to deliver initiatives end to end.

  • Use audience insights, data, and performance metrics to continuously improve impact and results.

Success in this role means:

  • A clear, consistent, and trusted brand presence across channels.

  • Sustainable growth in traffic, reach, engagement, and returning users, including new traffic sources.

  • Marketing initiatives that are delivered quickly and contribute to both brand strength and commercial results.

Requirements

  • Experience in a combined brand and marketing role, with responsibility for both strategy and execution.

  • Strong understanding of marketing channels, distribution, and traffic growth.

  • Proven ability to plan, prioritize, and deliver in a fast-paced environment.

  • Experience leading and developing a team.

  • Ability to work data-informed and use insights and KPIs to guide decisions.

  • Fluency in Swedish, with strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • A genuine interest in sports and an understanding of a broad sports audience.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with performance marketing, SEO/CRO, or growth-focused initiatives.

  • Experience working in agile or cross-functional team setups.

  • Experience collaborating with external partners or agencies.
