We were founded in 2017 and are in the Computer Hardware Manufacturing industry, with 51-200 employees. We build Generative AI inference systems for data centers, including Hyperscaler and Neo Cloud data centers. These systems use our custom-designed logarithmic compute, silicon, hardware, interconnect, and system software. This technology changes how AI math works, transforming multiplication into addition to significantly reduce power consumption. Our systems let customers run large multimodal AI models for thousands of users with less equipment, power, and cost. We have co-headquarters in Sunnyvale, California, and Munich, Germany.

Our mission is to build AI math, chips, hardware, and software from the ground up. We aim to rewrite mathematical foundations to make AI operate with less energy and cost than current methods. We strive to simplify advanced AI, making it affordable and efficient so that ideas—not operational overhead—are the main focus. We deeply care about AI and its global impact.

We have a distributed team across North America and Europe, with members specializing in computer science, deep learning, silicon engineering, systems engineering, networking, software, and business. Our culture focuses on building technology and solving complex problems. We look for curious builders and bold thinkers who are comfortable with ambiguity, thrive in high-context discussions, and bring their authentic selves to work. We support experimentation and collaboration, encouraging rapid testing of ideas.

The board of directors includes Kevin Johnson, Ashok Krishnamurthi, Sriram Viswanathan, Marc Bolitho, and RK Anand. We are supported by various venture capital and private equity partners who help us develop and produce our data center inference systems.

We support remote work, prioritizing output over a fixed location. While remote work is standard, we also value real-time collaboration and organize in-person gatherings as needed.
