Job description

This role requires a hybrid schedule and will be based in our New York City office (Tuesday through Thursday) and work fully remotely on Mondays and Fridays each week.

The Senior Director of Product Management leads TPG’s product execution engine across all cross-functional pods. This leader translates long-term strategy into actionable quarterly roadmaps, develops and manages PM talent, and ensures teams deliver high-quality B2C products and product experiences that drive measurable user and commercial outcomes. The role requires strong cross-functional leadership across Engineering, Design, UXR, Data, and Commercial Strategy to maintain clarity, alignment, and delivery velocity.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead and mentor the Product Management team, developing PM craft, judgment, and execution discipline.
  • Own the product roadmap and ensure alignment with strategic priorities provided by TPGs corporate strategic planning.
  • Drive product discovery, prioritization, and delivery across multiple pods, ensuring outcomes—not output—are the measure of success.
  • Partner with Engineering Managers and Design leadership to build healthy, high-performing product teams.
  • Establish and maintain the product operating rhythm (quarterly planning, OKRs, backlog refinement, sprint cycles).
  • Balance investment across new features, iteration, technical debt, and experimentation.
  • Ensure product decisions are grounded in insights from UXR, analytics, and performance metrics.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 12+ years of product management experience, with 5+ years in senior leadership roles.
  • Proven success shipping and scaling digital products in fast-moving environments.
  • Strong collaboration skills with Engineering, Design, Data, and executive stakeholders.
  • Excellent prioritization, communication, and storytelling skills.
  • Experience establishing product processes and frameworks at the organizational level.

Compensation:

  • Cash Compensation Range: $250,000 - $290,000 per year

*Note actual salary is based on geographic location, qualifications, and experience
