Position Title: Exercise and Fielding Planner
Location: Hybrid to Aberdeen Proving Grounds with travel to training sites
Clearance Requirement: Active Secret, TS preferred

We are seeking a Exercise and Fielding Planner to support our Tactical Command and Control (TC2) programs. This role will coordinate operational events, training exercises, and fielding activities that enable Soldiers and joint partners to evaluate and employ advanced capabilities in real-world training environments.
This position requires an active U.S. Secret Clearance (TS preferred) and the ability to travel to government and training locations as needed.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
Exercise & Operational Planning
- Plan, coordinate, and execute operational training events and Soldier Touch Points to evaluate system performance and collect user feedback.
- Support events including User Juries, Wargames, STX, CPX, FLX, WFX, Force-on-Force exercises, and CTC rotations.
Fielding & Integration Support
- Coordinate fielding activities across government stakeholders, program leadership, and operational units.
- Synchronize schedules, resources, and operational requirements across internal teams and external organizations at the request of the Program Manager.
Validation & Verification
- Plan and execute Validation & Verification (V&V) events with organizations such as CECOM and TRADOC.
- Support updates to Training Support Packages (TSPs) and Technical Manuals.
Operational Analysis & Reporting
- Assess exercise outcomes and provide qualitative analysis and recommendations to leadership on training effectiveness and system performance.
- Prepare briefings, reports, and operational updates for government and program leadership.
Stakeholder Coordination
- Serve as a coordination point between operational units, government program offices, training organizations, and engineering teams.
- Travel to government facilities and exercise locations to support integration events and operational evaluations.
WHAT YOU HAVE DONE
Bachelor’s degree with 8–12 years of relevant experience in military operations, training coordination, or defense program support.
Active DoD Secret clearance required (TS preferred).
Experience supporting military planning, operational exercises, or training events.
Familiarity with Electronic Warfare (EW) concepts and systems, including EWPMT.
Understanding of DoD acquisition processes, particularly Programs of Record (POR) fielding.
Experience coordinating across military organizations, program offices, and technical teams.
Strong organizational and scheduling skills for complex multi-stakeholder events.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially PowerPoint for operational briefings.
EVEN BETTER
Prior experience supporting Program of Record fielding activities.
Experience coordinating large-scale military exercises or Combat Training Center rotations.Familiarity with systems such as PLASMA-X, S2AS, TLS Manpack, TLS EAB, TLS EW, Maven Smart System, Rover, Lattice, or JSDR.
Prior service in a military operational planning or training role.
Experience working with TRADOC, CECOM, or program executive offices (PEOs).
