ResponsiveAds™ is an advanced creative ad technology suite to produce immersive rich-media responsive display ads that outperform the standard IAB engagement by 20x.  With our strong growth in that last year, we are aggressively looking to expand our processes and infrastructure with this senior DevOps position.  He/she would be helping our developers achieve maximum efficiency, and aiding our COO to maintain smooth operations, and accelerating releases of secure, high-quality software.

The company offers a combination of self-serve studio products (SaaS), 3rd party fluid ad serving, and a full-service rich-media creative development offering.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy CI/CD pipelines to automate development and deployment processes, and continue to evolve existing infrastructure.

  • Monitor and optimize the development infrastructure and applications for availability, performance, and security.

  • Improve DevOps monitoring to manage continuous monitoring.

  • Research new technologies to automate and streamline software development/deployment processes.

  • Update and maintain both frontend and backend stack while minimizing disruption of service and development.

  • Coordinate communication and document workflows with cross-functional teams.

  • Aid adoption of new technologies to improve delivery & development processes.

  • Maintain and enhance version control systems (Git), repositories, and branching strategies to facilitate efficient collaboration and versioning.

  • Identify and mitigate security risks across the infrastructure.

  • Stay up-to-date with emerging security threats and trends.

  • Monitor and help improve code quality with monitoring tools.

  • Deploy and maintain cloud environments, including production and development environments on AWS and Google Cloud.

  • Develop, and maintain solutions for product analysis, feedback, and logging.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a SRE/DevOps/Systems engineer.

  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with AWS stack (EC2, S3, Lambda, CloudWatch, API Gateway, SNS, EBS, and/or EKS).

  • Solid understanding of cloud computing platforms, particularly AWS and Google Cloud.

  • Strong communication skills in English and through visualization with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Strong technical documentation skills.

  • Expertise in Linux system administration and shell scripting.

  • Proficiency with Javascript and Typescript.

  • Experience with Javascript frontend and backend technologies.

  • Experience with microservice architecture and Git or GitHub version control system.

  • Experience with APIs and Web services.

  • Knowledge with MongoDB, AWS Redshift, and PostgreSQL.

  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Circle CI, Bamboo, or Travis CI.

  • Solid understanding in networking, security practices and protocols.

Nice to Have

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
  • Knowledge in infrastructure as code (IaC) tools.
  • Knowledge in containerization and orchestration using Docker, Kubenetes, Ansible, or Amazon ECS.
  • Familiarity with Svelte.
  • Familiarity with AdTech including Google Ad Manager, programmatic advertising, demand-side platform (DSP), supply-side platform (SSP), and agency trading desk (ATD).
  • Experience maintaining ad servers.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment.
  • Knowledge of product analysis tools such as PostHog.
