Job Title: SaaS Architect
Location: Netherlands (Hybrid)
Engagement: Full-time, 5 days a week
Contract duration: 4 months
Start date: ASAP
We are currently looking for a SaaS Architect to support one of our key clients in a global SaaS platform rolled out across markets in Europe and the US.
As a SaaS Architect, you’ll design and establish a lightweight yet effective architecture governance framework for a fast-moving SaaS platform. You’ll connect enterprise and local architecture needs, define guiding principles, and balance governance with agility. This role is ideal for someone who can bridge the gap between enterprise-level structure and start-up-style innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement a fit-for-purpose architecture governance approach for the SaaS platform.
Collaborate with global and local architects to capture requirements and align priorities.
Define key governance principles, decision rights (RACI), triggers, guardrails, and coordination mechanisms.
Identify and design necessary architecture artifacts and templates, and help establish initial versions with the existing technology team.
Define success criteria and measurable outcomes for the governance setup.
Lead the initial mobilization and chair the architecture setup process, ensuring smooth handover to internal teams once established.
Requirements
Experience & Skills:
Proven experience in developing architecture governance for SaaS products.
Strong background in SaaS start-ups or scale-ups, ideally within B2B CRM/ERP environments.
Understanding of both enterprise architecture practices and the agility needs of smaller tech teams.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to align diverse architectural perspectives.
