Overview
Sand Cherry is looking for a QA Validation Analysts who will be responsible for validating the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of data as it moves between source and target systems. This role follows structured validation methodologies, identifies data quality risks early, and collaborates closely with subject matter experts (SMEs) to resolve issues. The analyst operates within defined processes and governance standards, ensuring reliable and auditable outcomes. These are remote roles that will begin March 2, 2026. All qualified candidates MUST be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future. Please note that we do not work C2C.
Key Responsibilities
· Validate source-to-target data for accuracy, completeness, and consistency
· Execute standardized Good / Better / Best validation checklists
· Identify data quality issues, discrepancies, and potential risks; escalate findings early
· Correct data issues under SME guidance (no independent migration or transformation decisions)
· Perform peer reviews of other analysts’ validation work to ensure quality and consistency
· Document validation findings, exceptions, and resolutions clearly and thoroughly
· Adhere to established validation processes, controls, and delivery timelines
Required Skill Set
· Minimum of 3-4 years professional experience in QA and QA validation
· Strong data literacy with exceptional attention to detail
· Experience working with enterprise-level or relational data environments
· Proficiency with Excel
· Ability to work effectively within structured, repeatable validation cycles
· Clear written communication skills with a strong sense of accountability and ownership
Preferred Qualifications
· Proficiency with SQL
· Experience supporting data migrations, system implementations, or large-scale data initiatives
· Familiarity with data quality, governance, or audit-style validation frameworks
Compensation
For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in Colorado, Sand Cherry Associates is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range considers a wide range of factors considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and delivery model. This is a year long-term consulting engagement with an estimated base compensation range of $90k-$105k. Years of experience, level of education, geographic location, unique skills/qualifications for the specific role and potential certifications can be key factors in the final compensation for this role.
