We are a multi-strategy, multi-manager hedge fund. Founded in 1988 by Steven Schonfeld, we became Schonfeld Strategic Advisors in 2015, evolving from a family office that focused on short-term, systematic, and algorithmic trading. Led by Chief Executive Officer and Chief Investment Officer Ryan Tolkin, we have an investment presence across five continents.

We use decades of experience to identify market opportunities across various asset classes and geographies. We invest in four core strategies:

• Quantitative Strategies: Focuses on short- to intermediate-term, fully-automated global trading across multiple asset classes and geographies, supported by our research and systematic trading platform.
• Fundamental Equity: Employs long/short discretionary strategies across sectors, geographies, and styles, using fundamental, bottom-up analysis.
• Tactical Trading: Supports discretionary and systematic strategies that capitalize on market volatility, dispersion, and events. These include equity capital markets, merger arbitrage/event-driven, index rebalance, relative value volatility, delta one, emerging markets, short-term trading, and market microstructure sub-strategies.
• Discretionary Macro & Fixed Income: Deploys capital across global interest rates, FX, credit, and related markets, combining fundamental research with real-time market insights.

Technology, advanced data, and risk management underpin our investment process. Our proprietary systems are designed for agility and scalability. As of January 1st, 2026, we have over 130 Portfolio Manager teams, manage more than $17.5 billion in Assets Under Management, and employ over 1,000 people.
